Machine Voyeurism is a project based on the work of multimedia artist Lynn Hershman Leeson. Her early work investigates the relationship between technology and humans. The first half of the book contains interviews, giving us insight into the artist’s processes, while the second half contains images of her work. The book’s layout is inspired by vintage scientific manuals, referencing Hershman Leeson’s theme In her work. I designed the graphic elements to allude to the shapes of human chromosomes and DNA. The duotone green color palette was used to match the artist’s artwork.
